Boarding from astern the transom features easy steps up to the cockpit. A transom shower is located to starboard and a swim ladder to port. Cushioned cockpit seating over large storage lockers are port and starboard, positioned behind each large leather-wrapped steering wheel. The cockpit is extremely large, with seating for about 12 people, and includes a large folding cockpit table. A very nice dodger is included, with new isinglass windows. And a large cockpit bimini top protects the entire cockpit from rain. The cockpit sole and the swim platform and its steps are covered with teak -- very nice.
The companionway is wide, with a deep sliding hatch and a translucent hatch board. Stairs below are wide and secure with handrails.
The main cabin interior is bright and roomy, with high headroom, a beamy saloon and many windows. The gigantic "deck salon" windows offer pleated shades and handholds beneath. Overhead there are fixed windows for light (again with shades) and an opening hatch. And there are curtained windows in the hull sides. Joinery is light and attractive. Upholstery is camel-colored microfiber-type. This is a sailboat that doesn't feel confining in the least.
Around the main cabin: the L-shaped galley is to starboard. It has a lot of counter and storage space, and very large refrigerator and freezer compartments. The refrigerator can be accessed from the front and the top. A Eno three-burner propane stove with oven and a Sharp microwave are provided for cooking. To port is the nav station with a roomy chart table, a comfortable seat and lots of storage compartments. Immediately forward of the nav station is a bar with concealed storage for many bottles of whatever. A settee is conveniently located next to the bar. The U-shaped dinette with a very large table is to starboard. Entertainment system includes a 31" TV with DVD and stereo with Bose speakers.
The forward cabin has a pedestal berth, good storage and hanging locker space and an ensuite head (with its own holding tank) and shower with enclosure door.
The private aft master cabin is accessed via the galley and is exceptionally large. Positioned beneath the cockpit there many opening portlights, a large berth, seating on both sides of the cabin, and (again) abundant storage lockers. This is a very roomy and attractive space. An ensuite head with shower enclosure is to port forward.
Engine accessibility is excellent, with doors in the master stateroom providing access to the transmission, and opening companionway steps providing access to the forward end of the engine.
I have to comment further on the storage spaces aboard this boat -- cabinets, lockers, storage wells beneath the cabin sole, drawers -- this is a fine boat for extended cruising or living aboard. Cabinets and lockers and deck boards all have nice metal pulls.
Cruise Air reverse-cycle heat/air -- two units with controls in the mast stateroom and in the saloon.

Broker's Comments
This 2010 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45 DS is a beauty. It is spacious, with a well-crafted, roomy and attractive two-stateroom interior, and a terrific large cockpit with dodger and bimini. She has been lightly used and appears in excellent condition. The Deck Salon design of this model is especially appealing for the amount of interior light and visibility it provides.
The engine is the larger 75 hp Yanmar option. A bow thruster assists in close-quarters maneuvering. Dual helm stations, reverse-cycle heat/air, an Onan generator, a 2013 RIB on transom-mounted davits, electric two-speed winches, Magnum inverter, and a complete Raymarine navigational suite are just a few of the inclusions.
