This Taiwan-built vessel is typical of most CHB models. Hull and deck, hand-laminated, are usually over-built. The teak interiors would be extremely expensive to build in today's construction market.

This vessel appears well-maintained both on the interior and exterior.

Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Moving forward, down three steps, the galley is to port with dinette to starboard. The guest stateroom is forward of the galley area and has two bunks -- an upper and a lower. A vanity to starboard. The head has a manual head and hand-held shower.

VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!

CHB Trawlers are among the most numerous trawler-style vessels on the West Coast, and the resale market is robust. While most have Perkins or Ford Lehman engines, this vessel has a single 210 HP Cummins 5.9 liter diesel engine and a Side-Power bow thruster. It is very easy to handle.

This CHB model was also known as a CHB 42 Ponderosa Trawler.

The present owner has recently spent a lot money on regular maintenance, and major improvements to all the exterior brightwork which alone cost $6,000.

This model has an oversized flybridge deck -- enough area for several deck chairs and even a dinghy.

This two stateroom model has two separate heads and the master has a shower/tub combination.

The over all condition of this vessel appears excellent. But it does have blisters. The following is a quote from a survey completed in July of 2020: "There were blisters found covering the wetted surface area of the fiberglass hull structure. Blisters ranged in size from smaller than a dime to approximately four inches in diameter. Blisters were not lanced. The severity of the structure defect was undetermined. Recommend monitor the size, quantity and location of each blister each time the vessel is hauled and repair blisters as desired".

This vessel is priced to acknowledge the blister problem.
