The vessel's hull is solid fiberglass with the deck and cabin tops cored with a composite material.

The hull to deck joint is fastened with S/S bolts every 6".

The vessel has a raked bow, reversed stern, fin keel, spade-hung rudder and round chines.

The stern has the swim platform integrated with the transom. There is a hinged S/S boarding ladder attached to the swim platform.

Boarding the vessel can be through the port or starboard lifeline gates or from the swim step. There is a well-designed hinged cockpit seat section. There are also lifeline across the open rail section.
A SEA B Q propane grill is included. There are 2 2.4 propane tanks and one of these connects to the grill
A double-leaf cockpit table is on center line in the cockpit. The saloon is entered through a centerline hatch. The galley is located to starboard and the entrance to the guest stateroom is to port, as is the the second door to the aft head. The guest stateroom has its own door to the head.

Moving forward on the port side is the nav station with a double bench just forward of that.

On the starboard side forward of the galley is a large convertible dinette that includes a built-in seat with storage.
Moving into the forward stateroom there is a centerline berth with the head / shower to starboard.

Access to the foredeck is easy because of the wide catwalks port and starboard. All halyards and sheets are run aft for easy sailing from the cockpit.

Cabin heat is supplied by a Webasto Hydronic system.

The Beneteau Oceanis 423 is a well-respected offshore cruiser. The large cockpit with plenty of storage and easy access to the interior makes the vessel very comfortable in any weather. With two comfortable staterooms and two heads it becomes a great cruising boat for two couples. And with extra built-in seating in the dinette it also offers great entertaining The galley has plenty of room for two to work and the front-loading refrigerator offers easy access to food supplies.

Overall this is a very comfortable cruising vessel. And it's a great around-the-buoys racer!
