construction

GRP construction with semi-displacement underwater profile, gelcoat finish
Nordic Tugs are built in Arlington, WA to a very high standard. The hull, deck and house are all molded fiberglass including the hull framing and engine beds. Other than the treads of the ladder in the cockpit, there is no exterior wood trim. All windows are aluminum-framed. This is a pilot house configuration with aft cockpit and main salon/galley. The single engine is located under the pilothouse. Two cabins are down and forward of the pilothouse. The actual overall length is 39'2".

This is a hard chine planing hull which has achieved a maximum speed of 17.7 knots at 2891 RPM.

Broker's Comments

Register with Boatshed to see 72 extra photos of this Nordic Tugs 37 20th Anniversary Millennium Edition.
The Nordic Tugs 37 is becoming a classic NW cruising boat providing comfort, economy and excellent performance. It will cruise at 7.5 knots at 3 gph or exceed 17 knots if the need arises. The large swim step and cockpit make boarding and fishing easy. The heavy duty powered davit system provides excellent stowage for a tender well clear of the water but lowers to hold the tender steady in the water for loading and launching. This example has been meticulously maintained in essentially new condition. Even the bilge under the engine looks like a new boat.
