A properly designed vessel, the Tollycraft 48 CPMY allows boarding from the swim platform into the cockpit, or either side via hinged rails. She features safe, wide side decks allowing access to all exterior areas. Cockpit access is down two steps from the main deck with salon entry through the port or starboard door or aft from the sundeck.
A bright and open salon features an L-shaped sectional (converts to a sofa bed), breakfast bar, built-in TV/VCR, overhead teak rails, teak salon table that folds out to seat six, three covered stools, indirect fluorescent lighting, stereo speakers, brass clock and barometer, stereo system featuring equalizer, and a ten station speaker selector. A leather pilot pedestal seat is located at the helm.
The open "U" galley is located just down to port with a dinette that converts to a double berth. The galley includes a Norcold 728 two-door refrigerator/freezer, newer microwave with exhaust vent, Princess three burner stove with oven, trash compactor, S/S double sink, with ISE instant heat 190 degree hot water dispenser, built-in coffee maker, U-Line ice maker, stereo speakers and fire extinguisher and phone intercom and U-Line Ice maker.
Forward is guest stateroom featuring a large V berth and en-suite head, reading lights, fans, two stereo speakers and fire extinguisher.
The master stateroom is located aft of the salon (three steps down) and features a center-line queen berth, hanging lockers, vanity, extensive storage, and a ensuite head featuring a separate large shower, overhead hatch, indirect fluroscent lighting, reading lights, two electric fans, and two nightstands with table lamps.
The bridge has a four sided enclosure providing additional space for piloting the vessel and social gathering.
She sleeps a total of eight, two in the master stateroom, two forward and two on the convertible dinette and two on the sofa bed. Three Cadet wall heaters, custom fabrics, curtains, recent carpets and a 6' 5" headroom make this a comfortable cruising vessel.
