Built of FRP by "Marine Projects" based in Great Britain. She has a foam cored foredeck and six solid FRP bilge stringers of varying widths & heights for framing. This makes up a modified V, semi-displacement hull with a 3/4 length keel. Side decks & cockpit are solid FRP and there are 4 watertight bulkheads below deck. She measures 45' x 14', with a 4' draft. The original teak swim platform was replaced with a custom ultra-sturdy aluminum platform. This model has a complete flybridge.

Dimensional information and tankage is taken from literature and has not been verified by Waterline Boats / Boatshed Seattle.

Enter from a large cockpit through double sliding doors to the main salon. To port is built-in wrap-around seating with blue-gray (neutral) upholstery. A folding leaf table resides next to this seating. To starboard are two wicker chairs with a built-in coffee table. Seating at the table will accommodate four people. Forward and to starboard is the helm with a bench seat for two. Visibility from the helm offers excellent line-of-sight in all directions. Directly to port of the helm a stairway leads down to the galley. A three-burner stove/oven sits amidships with plenty of counter space. Forward of the stove is a breakfast nook with built-in seating, allowing guests to interact with those in the galley. It can also be a workstation/desk area. Across from the breakfast nook to starboard is entry to the guest cabin with its double berth. It has a forward hanging locker and an aft locker. Portlights allow plenty of natural light. Forward from the guest cabin is the guest head with shower (accessed from outside the room.) The sink and built-in counter is a tasteful deep blue ceramic. Completely forward is entry to the master suite, with a queen berth on centerline and lockers on both sides and at the starboard end of the berth. The master head door is accessed en suite and is similar in style to the guest head.

A ladder from the cockpit leads to a flybridge with complete controls for piloting, as well as seating facing forward and aft.

A walk-around on both sides from the cockpit leads to a large foredeck. Railings wrap around completely.

This boat has a Cruiseair III hydronic heat pump heat/ac system and is ducted to all quarters. An Espar oil-fired hydronic furnace heating system also ducts to all quarters. A manual gusher-type bilge pump is located in the cockpit and is capable of pumping any bilge on the boat.

Broker's Comments

This Princess 45 is a rare find in the Pacific Northwest, and is evidently a very well and sturdily built vessel capable of accommodating four people comfortably for extended cruises. It would also serve as a great live-aboard vessel. This boat is comfortable, roomy, and has an inviting layout. It has been in the hands of a professional mariner so has been attended to carefully.

The electronics are not current but they are all functional. The flybridge has everything necessary with a great view. This craft has what it takes for safe cruising and adventure. Handrails are high and sturdy all around and the hull is reportedly a great and stable performer. What really strikes me is her beautiful design. She has wonderfully sleek lines and is a classy looking boat that will stand out in any harbor.
