Some of these vessels from North Sea are titled as 37s and some as 38s. USCG documentation on this one states 37 feet but it's brokerage listed as a 38 foot. Length should be confirmed by survey at time of sale. Traditional tri-cabin trawler styling with aft cabin and large flybridge area. Teak decks well maintained, teak cap rails well varnished. Hand layed up GRP with carvel lines and large rub rail. Owner reports all glass house and hull Sterling epoxy painted. Transom has teak swim platform all in very nice condition. Flybridge deck was rebuilt at some point with internal structural support added. Everything looks very nice and well-maintained.

Broker's Comments
There are several reasons why a 1979 trawler has significant appeal in today's market -- and the primary reason is that a boat of this size, equipped like this lovely example would cost more than $350,000 if purchased new today. This North Sea 38 Tri-Cabin Trawler is as nice a boat as you could hope to find in this price range. The owner has had a career in the marine industry and has constantly upgraded, maintained, restored, modernized and made this beautiful boat as comfortable and lovely as many new boats. I was most impressed with how new or new-appearing almost everything is, and the evident fastidious maintenance the boat has received. The 1.7 GPH (at 7 knots) fuel consumption is a huge plus with today's fuel costs and makes her a thrifty boat to operate. Easy to handle too, with her Vetus bow thruster! Overall this is a gorgeous boat with no apparent deferred maintenance. Just load your groceries and cast off the lines.
