Stepping aboard from a dinghy or the dock is easy with the walk-through transom in the stern, into the cockpit with center helm station. The port lazarettes hold the propane tank, ample storage for hoses and lines, and fender stowage. The cockpit is covered with a bimini, the dodger is easy to see through and has a privacy cover. She sports gray and blue striping with blue bottom paint. The decks are painted with non-skid and are wide for safe handling of lines or fenders. The anchor locker is large with a Maxwell electric up windlass.
Entering the interior through the companionway the engine is just below the steps, the galley to port with the navigation station to starboard. The L-shaped galley is outfitted with corian-type counters, a side-by-side stainless sink, and a large, deep storage space next to the sink. Along the outboard is the Hillrange 2-burner stove and oven and the top loading Adler Barbour refrigeration unit (12v DC - cooling unit/freezer plate, replaced 2014). Above the refrigeration unit and stove are hinged storage lockers and microwave cabinet. Above the storage bin and sink is a hanging dish rack. Aft is a built in garbage bin to complete the galley.
The navigation station, facing outboard, is to starboard of the galley. There is a desk with storage and articulating stool, additional storage is on the shelf above. Equipment includes: VHF radio, Xantrex inverter panel, autopilot remote and Garmin remote.
The aft stateroom is accessed just aft of the navigation station and features a large transverse berth below the cockpit. A shelf above the head of the berth runs the length of the cabin with reading lamps. A tall hanging locker and drawers are just inside the door. Side hatches and a cockpit hatch allow light and fresh air.
The saloon is forward of the galley and nav station; to port is a u-shaped settee and table which will accommodate several guests and converts to a double berth. To starboard is a small table with facing settees which converts to a single berth. The upholstery in the saloon is dark blue ultraleather. Above and outboard of both settees are large lockers with bookshelves and reading lamps. A TV is in a separate closing locker just forward of the starboard single settees with large drawers below. To port is the head which may be accessed from the saloon or privately from the forward stateroom. It features a sink with faucet/shower wand, molded seat, vanity mirror and storage, and a large locker above the head which is a raw-water, manual head.
Forward of the head is the forward stateroom with large v-berth and insert. There is storage below the berth and hanging locker and drawers with a vanity and mirror just inside the door. The anchor locker is forward of the stateroom with access from the deck.
Several cushions for the settee berths and cockpit cushions and transom seat are in storage but will be available upon purchase.
Several port lights and deck hatches allow light throughout the staterooms and cabins which gives the boat a spacious open feel. This would be a great boat for a cruising couple with friends, or children with grandkids. Several options for cruising comfortably!

Broker's Comments
This Catalina 36 Mk II is equipped for year round sailing and single-handing. The roller furling main and headsail with lines leading aft through the dodger to the cockpit allow the current owner to single-hand with ease. The cockpit with dodger and bimini is large and comfortable while under sail or anchored in a quiet cove. The interior is heated with Webasto diesel heat for comfort during the fall and winter months.
Movement around the boat is safe and easy with wide decks and grab bars. The walk-through stern transom and wide swim step are ideal for boarding from the dinghy or after swimming.
The sellers have many cherished memories from their ownership but are ready for the "next phase" and are motivated to sell! Offers will be considered!
