She provides an excellent cruising speed with her 40 hp diesel, and saildrive propulsion, and while under sail, the saildrive unit, with a 2007 Volvo 3-blade flex-o-fold folding propeller, virtually eliminates drag through the water.

Broker's Comments
This vessel is a unique custom rigged Bavaria 39, built originally for the European market, and, as a European model, is the only hull available in the Americas. She was sailed from Europe to North Carolina, after sailing Spain, the Canaries, Scandinavia, and the Caribbean. The sellers (Her second owners) bought her, and trucked the vessel to Seattle, Washington, where they cruised the Pacific Northwest and Canadian waters. The vessel is ready to continue cruising the Northwest waters, from Olympia to Alaska, as well as offshore!
