Built by Kong and Halvorsen in 1983, this top-quality Trawler is well known for its durability, range and excellent interior accommodations. Harvey Halvorsen is most well known for the Grand Banks line, but he built similar quality and craftmanship into the sistership line, Island Gypsy. It has the profile of a tri-cabin, but it's actually a quad-cabin which is rare to find in a 36' boat. The flybridge has seating for up to ten people, while there is room for storage on the aft deck, plus a large cockpit. The wide walk-arounds make getting around the boat safe and easy. On the foredeck, there is room for deck chairs which is a great spot to enjoy the view while cruising.

Broker's Comments

This Island Gypsy has a unique 3 stateroom layout, plus wide walkarounds and plenty of flybridge seating - all in a 36' boat. The brightwork looks good - mostly because it has been stored undercover for the last 15 years. The interior is clean throughout, the pictures don't do it justice. This high-quality trawler is being offered at a competitive price. With twin diesels (Lehman 135HP), it is fuel efficient and easy to handle, plus it can accommodate the whole family. Compare it to Grand Banks and save!

The owner will consider a 27-28ft late model express cruiser on trade.
