This Hi-Star has a very popular Sundeck layout with 2 staterooms and 2 heads. The master cabin is aft - it has an island queen and ensuite head with shower stall. There are built in drawers, hanging lockers, and a desk/vanity on the starboard side. A washer dryer combination unit is conveniently installed in the master stateroom. Up from the master stateroom is the saloon. It has an L-shaped sofa on the starboard side that was just refinished with white ultra-leather. The port side of the saloon has a flat screen TV - there is plenty of room left for additional chairs if you wanted to add them. The lower helm is just forward of the saloon sofa. Down a few steps from the saloon is the galley and dinnette. The galley is to port - it has an electric 3 burner stove, convection microwave, toaster oven, trash compacter, a large sink, plenty of counterspace and a new refrigerator/freezer. The dinnette is opposite from the galley. It has a hydraulic high/low table that converts it into a berth at night. The C-shaped seating accommodates more people than most dining tables on other boats of this size range. The forward stateroom has a walk-around island queen berth, hanging lockers and a private head with shower.
The two stateroom layout allows for much more room in the galley, dinnette and saloon than you will find in 3-stateroom boats of this length.

Broker's Comments
A rare find on the West Coast! This Hi-Star 48 Sundeck exhibits top-notch craftsmanship and a well planned layout. It is an ideal floor plan for living aboard or long range cruising with 2-4 people. The interior woodwork is well finished and gives the boat a classic nautical appeal. The exterior appearance is also very nice for its age. This 48 Sundeck is clean inside and out - it has clearly been well maintained. She's ready for cruising with radar, autopilot, diesel heat, inverter, 8KW Generator, a 12' AquaPro tender with 18 hp Tohatsu outboard and electric crane davit. Assumable live-aboard moorage is available (upon marina approval) - she is moored in an end slip with a panoramic view of the Ballard Ship canal. This a rare opportunity to purchase a 48' Hi-Star Sundeck in great shape offered at an attractive price - no disappointments here!
