Built by renowned Northcoast yachts, the Eclipse 40 Sportfish was intentionally constructed to provide a markedly superior quality level compared with its production rivals on the market.

The design took two years of CAD/CAM simulations and prototype testing before the first production unit was created. The result is a light-weight, high performance off-shore capable sportfisher. Weighing only 18,000lbs it is more fuel efficient and can cruise at faster speeds than heavier boats in the size range.

Hand laid construction incorporating foam sandwich topsides and decks. Hull laid with isopthalic resins and knitted multiaxial E-glass.

If you fish do not let this one get away!

It has been said that "all men are created equal before fish". Not so, as this amazing sportfishing machine proves...

This Eclipse 40 Sportfish Yacht was custom-built by Northcoast Yachts of Tacoma from a proprietary and technically leading-edge design from New Zealand. This unique sportfisher combines megayacht quality (for which Northcoast is well-known) with blue-water fishing capabilities to create a remarkable sportfish yacht. 120 square feet of cockpit space and deep, secure walkarounds all around the boat make fishfighting a breeze - setting the Eclipse apart from the rest. It's high quality construction and attentive ownership have left this boat in exceptional condition - you would not guess that it has been to Alaska several times and and has hooked and landed tons of fish. The interior is well appointed and shows very little wear. The gelcoat and deck are in very nice shape as well. Veteran boaters will appreciate easy access to the engine room from the cockpit or through the saloon. Visibility is excellent from the helm and from the forward facing passenger bench. The Eclipse 40 Sportfish Yacht has plenty of storage compartments and thoughful customizations - too many to list. This is truly a must -see, top-notch fishing machine - you won't find anything else like it because there isn't anything else like it.

Sleek, modern lines. High performance. Exceptional construction quality. And a practical design that serves its intended purpose (catching fish!) beautifully.

Powered with Twin Cummins Diamond Series 5.9L 315HP Diesel engines with trolling valves.
