Entry to the main saloon is through sliding doors on either side. The helm is to starboard and a navigation station occupied by a lap top computer and chart table is to port. Navigation displays are suspended from the overhead above the helm. The Galley area is immediately aft to port. The galley features a large four burner stove and oven, sink and refrigerator. At the aft end is a cabinet extending to the ceiling and featuring a hand carved wood panel.
Between the helm and navigation station is the companionway down steps to the forward compartment. Two "V" berths with drawers for storage under and a head/shower closet to port. The head sink is on a clever sliding shelf which pulls out above the head unit when needed and slides back out of the way when not in use.
In the main saloon, the table and surrounding seating is located to starboard. At the forward end of the seating area is a pull out cabinet with a beautiful, hand carved face panel. The table and seating can be rearranged as a queen size berth. On the starboard side is a second seating area with storage under that can also be made up as a small berth. Aft down stairs into the master stateroom. A queen size berth is on the starboard side and a single berth on the port. A large head/shower compartment is on the forward starboard side. Stairs and a door with sliding hatch above open out to the cockpit area. There is a gate in the cockpit railing for access to the swim step and Livingston dinghy which hinges down off the swim step for launching.
Steps up from the cockpit lead to the folding mast and on up to the very roomy flying bridge area. The flybridge features full controls and navigation instruments with full width bench seating. A folding canvas top provides shelter.
The cabin heat system is plumbed so that it can preheat the engine for cold weather starting and it can use the engine heat to heat the cabin when underway.

This is one of the finest examples of the sturdy little Monk-designed "Puget Trawler" that you will find. It is an economical small cruiser that consumes only 2 gallons per hour at 7 knots. CHB Puget Trawlers have always presented good value for displacement cruisers but have a variable reputation for quality. In the late 70's, when this boat was built, there were several builders in Taiwan producing these boats with mixed results. However, some of the boats were the result of careful and expert craftsmanship. This boat appears to be one of those. Everywhere you look is wonderful craftsmanship with hand-carved wood panels and carefully fitted teak rails and trim inside and out. All through-hulls and external fittings are nicely cast bronze. The condition of the gel coat and varnish is excellent. This boat is kept in a high bay boat house in a prime location near Puget Sound's best cruising grounds and the boat house slip is available with the boat. To reduce overall height the mast is hinged to lay aft in a crutch and fold in half so it does not overhang the stern. This reduces the overall air draft to 12' (4 m). Despite its age, this boat gives the impression of being nearly new. The fact that it has aged so well with no problems demonstrates how well it is built. Three survey reports are available. The interior is bright and comfortable. The large flybridge area provides a full helm station and ample area for entertaining.
