The Universal diesel is three cylinder, freshwater cooled with only 627 hours.
She is equipped with Racor filter with a complete fuel tank cleaning about 1 year ago. Engine is coupled to a Hurth transmission with 2.0:1 ratio. A right hand 3 blade bronze prop is mounted on the upgraded 1" stainless steel shaft with zinc collars. Bottom was last painted in 2006 at which time there were minimal blisters. The boat has been in fresh water for 23 years.

The forward cabin has a 6'5" double V berth that measures 7'2" wide at the head of the berth, a 24" X 22" overhead solid hatch and two opening port lights.

The salon has a 6'2" portside settee and a starboard dinette that converts to a 6' X 42" double berth. The portside settee is followed by the 29" X 23" navigation station and then the enclosed head.

The galley is aft of the dinette. The companionway steps are between the head and master stateroom and the entry to the companionway is a comfortable 35" wide,
