The Keelform design of the Camano 31 is unique and very well regarded for its stability, seaworthiness and fuel efficiency. The deep, hollow v-shaped keel provides about 25 percent of the hull's displacement and at higher speeds lifts the stern to provide a smooth flow of water off the transom. This flow concept provides better fuel burn and stability. The Keelform design also allows the engine to be mounted lower into the keel are providing lower center of gravity. Solid hand laid fiberglass below the waterline and foam coring construction above the waterline.

Broker's Comments

This 2000 Camano 31 appears pristine. She has been freshly detailed inside and out and professionally fully serviced (including the dinghy), displaying very meticulous care by her owners. This boat has had some professional and attractive custom interior changes made, such as removal of the port settee and replacement with custom shelving and a folding table. She has two Flexsteel chairs with ottomans in the port salon. The entry into the v-berth area has a custom storage step, the hanging locker has valuable storage drawers added and the v-berth has two storage shelves added.

She is a fresh water boat that has always been stored under cover.

With the Keelform hull design she is very efficient at speeds up to 17 knots providing a much smoother ride than other boats her size. Camano owners rave about the economical operation and maintenance of their boats and tell me how quick and easy the Camano is to clean up and put away.
