		<title>Catalina 28 Mark II REF#345762</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 72 extra photos of this Catalina 28 Mark II.Catalina Yachts are one of the most popular classes of boats in the USA and are becoming more familiar in European and UK waters. She is the Mark II, a modern design that sails well and is easy to handle with all the control lines leading back to the good sized cockpit. The main sheet traveller is located on the coach roof leaving the cockpit free from obstruction making a much safer cockpit for the crew.

The accommodation is vast in comparison to more traditionally built yachts. She has a large double berth aft, in the main saloon there are 2 settee berths around the saloon table with a good sized heads port and the galley opposite. There is a forward cabin which can be 2 separate berths or converted to a double with an infill.
She has been well cared for and is currently ashore waiting for your inspection. Give me a call.

		<title>Carter one tonner TINA REF#345757</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 144 extra photos of this Carter one tonner TINA.Boatshed Riviera is delighted and honoured to present this 1966 sailing yacht, designed by Dick Carter, from the famous TINA series. A yacht that turns heads wherever she sails.

This yacht is classified as a BIP (Bateau d’Intérêt Patrimonial – Boat of Heritage Interest). This label imposes no restrictions on the owner, but it is official recognition of the boat’s exceptional character and value to maritime heritage. The distinction comes with several advantages, including exemption from the annual francisation tax (DAFN) and access to a specially negotiated insurance policy through AXA NSA – both in terms of coverage and cost. Additionally, in certain ports, owners benefit from preferential berthing fees and access to dedicated heritage docks, known as the &amp;quot;Quai du Patrimoine.”

Our TINA is a One Tonner – a class of racing yachts used to compete in the One Ton Cup between 1965 and 1994, under the IOR rule.

TINA is the name of the very first yacht in a series of 40 units, 15 of which were built in steel. It also happens to be the name of Dick Carter’s daughter!

With their elegant hulls and reverse transoms – a design element pioneered by Dick Carter – the TINA yachts are not only visually stunning but also formidable racer-cruisers. In the late 1960s, they won nearly every RORC race they entered (One Ton Cup, Fastnet, Admiral’s Cup, Channel Race, etc.).

Yet, the TINA yachts are comfortable at sea. Dick Carter said: “It’s important for a boat to behave properly in confused seas. TINA sails very well, and where she truly excels is in her passage through the waves.”

We are therefore presenting an exceptional yacht, for the following reasons:
•	Timeless, classic lines of outstanding beauty
•	Still a fast sailing yacht
•	Easy to handle, with a simple and efficient rig
•	Built like a safe: 4 mm thick steel hull (5 mm for the keel), and a 30 mm thick teak deck
•	Fully refitted in 2020 and in excellent condition despite her age.

This yacht is eligible for the Mediterranean Classic Yacht Regatta Circuit, in which she has actively participated for many years (9 times at Les Voiles d’Antibes, 3 times at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, and at the Régates Royales de Cannes).

This gives you the opportunity to race alongside Europe’s finest classic yachts in stunning regattas with an unforgettable atmosphere. You can also join the “Vintage &amp; Classic Yacht Club” and become part of a passionate community of enthusiasts. Or simply enjoy cruising – the current owner regularly sails to Corsica, and some TINA yachts have even crossed the Atlantic, including in races (Cape Town–Rio, for example).

Owning this TINA means owning a legend and a small piece of yachting history. In fact, Herbert von Karajan once owned one – his first Helisara.

<title>Arthur Ransome&#039;s Boat Bermudian Cutter Selina King REF#343361</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 109 extra photos of this Arthur Ransome&#039;s Boat Bermudian Cutter Selina King.SELINA KING is a Bermudan Cutter built by Harry King &amp; Sons of Pin Mill in 1938 for the author Arthur Ransome. At 36ft, she was the largest boat commissioned by Ransome and reputed to be his favourite.

As you can appreciate, there is a lot of history that comes with this fine boat. In her lifetime, she has had various owners and adventures in the Caribbean and the Southern US. Found abandoned and in a poor state in Florida, she was sailed to Bermuda and eventually bought by the current owner in 2011. She eventually returned, and there started an extensive refit, culminating in her launch in 2023 at the very yard where she had been built, Harry King &amp; Sons Boatyard in Pin Mill, Suffolk.

Selina King has been restored sympathetically using as much of the original boat as possible as is evidenced in the accompanying photographs. Now, after spending a lot of years, effort and money rebuilding the boat, the owner wishes to pass her on to someone who can appreciate the good work and use her properly.

* There are many articles available on the recent restoration of Selina King and the full history of Arthur Ransome and his boats. One recent article is (C. CLASSIC BOAT)https://www.classicboat.co.uk/news/arthur-ransomes-largest-yacht-restored-selina-king-returns

		<title>Bavaria B/One REF#334710</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 63 extra photos of this Bavaria B/One .Boatshed Southampton are pleased to bring to market this Bavaria B/One which is an exciting 7m (23ft) trailerable, one-design sport boat. The design brief for the boat was to create an economical one-design that would impress advanced sailors with excellent performance, yet be easy to handle and operate for the weekend sailor and his/her family.

The Bavaria B/One was developed by Bavaria and Farr Yacht Design as a crossover boat between a dinghy and a modern yacht. They wanted to combine performance with easy handling for weekend and family sailors, with the aim of bringing both dinghy sailors and beginners into keelboat sailing. The class has a strict one-design rule and circa 80+ boats were sold across Europe in the first season and a number of one-design fleets established.

The Bavaria B/One hull shape follows the latest Volvo 70 and IMOCA 60 styling, with relatively full bow sections and modest chines on the after quarters.

This one has been dry sailed and is now available for viewing

		<title>MG 30 HS Half Tonner REF#330271</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 72 extra photos of this MG 30 HS Half Tonner.Maverick is a well known local boat which has been active in the club racing scene for a good number of years with her current owner. You can see her out there most Sundays. She has a good amount of silverware on the mantelpiece, which stands testament to her abilities to pick up her skirts and get moving. She has been well cared for by her knowledgeable owner. She is ashore for the winter as usual, only afloat on her summer mooring between May and September every year. Hull is in great shape, engine runs very well and she is generally a well-found version of this type. She is ready to sail today, if needed....

		<title>Beneteau Oceanis 41 REF#327240</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 84 extra photos of this Beneteau Oceanis 41 .This 2014 Bénéteau Oceanis 41, is found to be in seemingly excellent condition and has been regularly maintained

With a spacious interior, three double berth cabins, (she can sleep eight as the saloon converts into an extra berth), two heads, one en suite to the fore cabin, a very comfortable airy saloon, well equipped galley area and dinette.

Her twin helms and comfortable cockpit have plenty of storage space, coupled with extensive navigation equipment make life on deck a joy. This yacht is easily single-handed with all lines led aft and easy reach to the primary winches by the helms-person.

The 41 was the last model to have the full transom seating with the push-button, drop-down swim platform in the transom. A great launch for your dinghy or easy access from the dock. It also expands the seating capacity of the cockpit.

She had a recent visit to ship yard this year for anti foul, anodes and service.

A viewing will not be disappointing.
