Broker's Comments

Today's listing was somewhat different to the normal, She is an Oakley 48-12 class lifeboat that served in Selsey and Teignmouth. The current owners have an extensive portfolio detailing her history and number of lives saved. Although in private ownership she retains almost all her original features.
Currently used as a motor cruiser she is in regular use and has just returned from a cruise to the Isle of Wight.
Powered by 2 Gardener 6LX diesel engines that start instantly.
Additions include a new diesel fired Beta 6kva generator, wind power charging and solar panels.
last out of the water in November this year where she was treated to new antifoul and anodes. The propellors, shafts and rudder bearings were inspected and the engines were treated to new oil, filters and lift pumps.
She is in need of painting on the aluminium superstructure but all the correct materials are included.
The current owners are in the process of removing the "clutter" shown on the pictures !
