Comentario del broker
In the reassuringly solid stakes, I have to say that on leaving the pontoon and boarding the boat, it was the pontoon which moved and not the boat on transferring my abundant frame from one to the other.
A surveyor once told me how to recognize a well built Ferro-cement boat was to visit it twenty years after it was built. If it was still afloat then it was a good one!
This example is 32 years old and as such has passed the first test.
She has been with the current owner for six years and has been used as a full-time Liveaboard.
The good news is she has proved that she is big enough to be fit for purpose as a Liveaboard.
Like most Liveaboards, the next owner is most likely going to want to gut the interior and refurbish in his or her own taste of soft furnishings which is lucky because that is what she will need.
Again, fortuitously the price has been set to facilitate this and with an element of flexibility to accommodate varying costs of textiles.
From a sailing perspective she had been purchased by her current owner (an experienced distance sailor) to engage on a Mediterranean adventure, but due to a change of direction she has been usurped by a new mistress.
So in summary, we have a functionally competent long-distance cruiser that can shoulder barge her way through most sea states and has been set-up for single handed sailing. In need of a full interior makeover and some domestic enhancements, priced to sell.
Bring me an offer and I will see what I can do.
