Broker's Comments
Built in 2022, this Collingwood 60 was their exhibition boat at the Crick Boatshow in 2022 which the current owner purchased at the show. With only one owner since new this is a fine example of their 60ft x 12'6" widebeam model from this renowned Liverpool based boatbuilder.
Bought as a lined out sailaway with a comprehensive equipment list installation which includes:
Canaline 52HP engine with 19" x 1.3" prop
Vetus 95KGF 12V Bow Thruster
Rule Mate 500GPH Bilge Pump
Vetus WP5 Water Pump
75litre Shurejust Vertical Calorifier
Aquafax 16A Galvanic Isolator
Sterling Pro Combi 2.5KW/120A Inverter
Webasto Thermo Top Evo 50KW Central Heating system with radiators in all spaces.
The owner has, since purchasing the boat, completed her to a high standard, with a full service galley, open plan with a large sit up breakfast bar to the main saloon, with a port side passageway providing access to a 2nd double bedroom with triple wardrobe, a spacious modern shower room, and leading on to the forward master suite.
The carpeted master suite is spacious and includes plenty of storage with multiple door wardrobes and three chests of drawers, with a double bed with bedside tables and a large TV. Two steps provide access through double lockable timber doors to the for'd open deck/cratch, which itself has full canvas covers on a stainless steel frame, providing a private sitting area direct from this owners cabin, more than large enough for 2 chairs and a side table ideal for alfresco breakfasts. Large round porthole type windows port and starboard provide plenty of natural light in to this master cabin.
The bathroom is modern and spacious, and has a shower enclosure with both fixed rainfall and handheld portable shower heads, a Thetford cassette toilet, plus a counter wash basin, with plenty of storage on a large open shelf unit, and natural light provided by a large round porthole style window.
The 2nd cabin has been fitted with a double bed and triple wardrobe but could easily be changed to provide for example bunk beds for a childrens' cabin, as a work/office space, or even an additional cosy lounge.
The large open plan saloon and galley/diner has a stove forward, a siting area to port with large L shaped settee, and a series of storage cupboards to starboard with a large smart TV on a wall bracket. Aft of this lounge area is the large breakfast bar, with hidden washing machine under, and 3 bar stools. The U shaped galley has a wide range of appliances, including under counter fridge & freezer, 4 burner gas hob with extractor hood over, and double high level ovens with an integrated microwave. To port is the sink, with a range of low level easily accessible storage units.
From the galley steps lead to the aft deck through lockable double steel/timber companionway doors and sliding steel deck hatch, providing access to a large aft deck, complete with full canvas covers for wet weather, on an easy demountable stainless steel folding frame, opening up this large space as an ideal outdoor dining/sitting space, currently fitted out with a settee, 2 chairs and coffee table. In the deck two removable panels provide good unobstructed access to the engine room compartment below. To the port side is the steering helm, affording good 360 degree views from the control position, and the large window panels in this full canvas cover provide the same 360 degree views even in bad weather. This helm position also includes the shore power connection for when alongside.
The hull, superstructure and external deck fittings are all in excellent condition, and 4 large solar panels on the coachouse roof forward provide a total of 100KW for battery charging and/or onboard power.
The owner has a full set of original manuals from when he bought the boat from new, including the Collingwood boat operations manual, and manuals for all the comprehensive equipment fitted on the boat.
A great example of a Collingwood 60, she has been used as a moored up live aboard with very little actual sailing time, clearly evident from the excellent condition of the hull.
This original 'Crick showboat' is currently moored in the Warrington area on the Bridgewater Canal. The boat's current mooring may also be available, but would have to be arranged separately by the buyer via their own private negotiations with the mooring's owner.
Please don't hesitate to contact Liverpool Boatshed for further details of this spacious 'as new' comprehensively equipped Collingwood 60, which the owner has very competitively priced for a quick sale.
We don't expect this boat to be for sale very long!
