Commentaires du Broker
This pocket-sized family cruiser has a lot going for her. Good sailing performance for her size, and the owner says she handles well with most of her lines leading aft to make solo or shorthanded sailing easy.
Her distinctive smoked Perspex side windows give her a sporty appearance as well as plenty of light below and she has an uncluttered, easy to move around deck. Down below the carefully thought out internal design makes maximum use of her interior volume.
The open plan saloon has a light and airy feel with a double berth in the forward section and two singles in the saloon when needed. There is also a spacious double aft cabin. She has a good sized nav table, a cooker with oven and grill as well as a separate heads compartment. Pretty amazing for a vessel under 27 ft.
The present owner has sailed and raced her regularly in the time he’s owned her. He appears to have looked after her well. She benefits from many improvements including a new mast and standing rigging installed in 2011. The cooker is plumbed in along with separate vented gas locker, and more navigation equipment.
She also benefits from being professionally re-engined with a brand new Beta Marine B-14 engine complete with new prop shaft and pressurised dripless prop shaft seal in 2019. Since the installation of the engine she has only clocked up 46 hours of run time!
A good, safe and steady all-rounder, this well-equipped and spacious bilge keeler is an ideal first boat for coastal cruising and creek crawler. Great for single handed sailing, sailing with a crew or for family fun.
