Broker's Comments
The Colvic Watson motor sailer's hull designed is from lifeboats (Watson, Maclachlan, Arun and Waveney Class) all designed by G L Watson & Co. As a motor sailer the Colvic Watson 29 has all the credentials required. A tough, heavy-displacement sailing boat for passage making, yet a versatile and stable motor-sailer. Add in a deep, safe cockpit and roomy wheelhouse, protected from the weather, and you have a genuinely go-almost-anywhere boat.
This particular example is a bit special. The hull moulded by Colvic Craft and then fitted out slowly and meticulously by a Colvic shipwright. The quality of materials and workmanship really has to be seen. Eventually launched in 2008 and maintained and enjoyed since she is a pleasure to step aboard.
She's currently afloat on a private marina berth which is available to let.
