Broker's Comments

Built and commissioned in the 1960's to serve as a foot passenger ferry from Tenby Town to Caldey Island. Two Brothers proved the perfect boat for the job, ferrying many hundreds of thousands of passengers safely back and forth, until retiring from the role in 2010.

Subsequently bought by Dale Sailing, she has continued to work as a commercially indorsed vessel, providing day trips to Skomer, Grassholm and Skolkhom islands. Previously coded to carry 42 passengers but comfortable with closer to 35.

Lifted out in 2022 to undergo an engine upgrade, the decision was made, instead to buy a newer vessel. However, prior to this decision, the engine was disconnected in preparation for removal. The engine is still in place but remains disconnected.

As the asking price suggests there is some work to do prior to recommissioning, although there is still plenty of life left in this characterful, hardworking boat.
