Broker's Comments
Renowned for building tough, sea capable RIB's, Tornado demonstrate this perfectly with the 2005 7.5 meter example we are happy to offer for sale.
The boat gives an exhilarating turn of speed, propelled by a 225hp Optimax Mercury, giving 50 knots max and cruising comfortably at 30. The engine fired with a first turn of the key and runs smoothly as demonstrated in the engine run video.
Although a little down on her luck, due to a spell of inactivity, all electrics, including bilge pump, GPS, VHF, navigation lights and stereo work. Cosmetically, the boat requires some attention, for example the wooden backing on the aft bench seat has deteriorated and will need replacing and the jockey seats show some signs of wear.
This aside, the boat has a solid, well made feel, the stainless steal arch is beefy and comes with a useful stainless side ladder. The proud bow and large tubes give plenty of reassurance in the rough stuff.
A tough, sea capable 'go anywhere' RIB with ample power.
