The Colvic Northerner began to be built in 1970 by Thames Marine with a round bilge hull which has a raked stem. The hull and decks are of GRP construction with full displacement underwater profile. The Colvic Northerner is a classic Colvic boat with production of the boat continuing for many years after it was first built.
