Broker's Comments
When Hurley went out of business in 1974 the mouldings of the Hurley 24/70 were taken over by Atlanta Marine, who marketed the yacht as the Atlanta 24. Solidly built small cruisers with good sailing performance , plus good accommodation for the size of boat. Despite the roomy interior, the cockpit is also surprisingly spacious for a boat of just under 24 feet long.
Yachting Monthly reviewed the design in 2001, commenting that they were "....a super little boat, ideal for a young family or singlehanded" and "....does exude confidence in a 'tough little battleship' sort of way".
