Broker's Comments

"Built to the usual Hallberg Rassy high standards, the 94 Kutter is a rather different offering from this distinguished company. A motorsailer that sails rather better (and looks rather better) than most motorsailers, she has a partially enclosed wheelhouse and a long keel, designed to eat up those long-distance miles. This particular example must surely be one of the nicest and best-equipped around. Launched in 1992, she was one of the last Kutters built and probably the last one to be imported into the UK. Already well equipped as standard, her original owner specified most of the available factory-fitted extras and the second (and current) owner has continued the strictly-observed routine of regular equipment replacement, upgrading, and planned maintenance. Accordingly, she appears to be pretty much immaculate, and that's not a word I use lightly. Particularly worthy of note is the 57HP (43HP was standard) engine and the retro-fitted Profurl roller-boom furling. Together with the lines led aft, this makes setting, reefing and handing the fully-battened mainsail, jobs which can all be done from the safety of the cockpit. If you're looking for a motorsailer that sails as well as a yacht, has high-quality solid construction and fittings both inside and out, which will look after you in less than pleasant weather, then you are unlikely to find a better example for the size and price."
