Broker's Comments

Quality craftsmanship, fittings and equipment have been used on this solidly built 48ft Colvic Craft hull to create a beautiful 3/4 finished blue water yacht.

With a dream of creating this powerful and capable ocean going vessel to sail the world with his family, the owner hasn't spared any expense to get her well on the way to becoming exactly that.

Although ill health has forced him to retire from this project, he would dearly like someone to take over the helm to complete the task and sail away into their dream. Hence the very reasonable price.

It has been estimated that a further £50k would be needed to finish her as a cutter rigged yacht. The main items still required include keel, selden mast / boom, inner forestay furlex, remaining standing rigging / running rigging, 3 sails, cooker, navigation instruments, seating, bed foam & soft furnishings.

She comes with a large quantity of teak, teak faced marine plywood and teak mouldings, a set of paper construction plans and a detailed itinerary of parts, fixtures & fittings is available upon request.

14th Jan 2016 - the price of this vessel has been reduced from £58,500 to £53,500 for 2 weeks only. After this time, the boat will be moved to a new location for work to commence.
