The genoa and staysail are on roller furling with weather guards that match mainsail cover. All sails and covers are in outstanding condition. The mainsail has been professionally maintained. All the lines are led aft to the cockpit.

The standing rigging appears to be oversized for serious offshore sailing. The mast has been removed and the rigging inspected in the spring of 2016.

The boat was de-rigged this summer as part of extensive time in the Port Townsend boat yard. Some of the work was to replace the bow sprit. That required the de-masting at which time all standing rigging as well as the mast was inspected, cleaned and re-stepped. The old barrier coat on the bottom was removed down to the original fiberglass and two coats of Kit Grey Interprotect applied and covered with Trinidad Pro bottom paint. All exterior wood stripped and refinished with Cetol. The foredeck was repaired with purpleheart wood under the windlass.

Broker's Comments

This Marcos Cutter is a very well-built uniquely- designed offshore vessel. The interior features an aft cabin that sleeps three in two bunks, a large saloon with a U-shaped galley, a large U-shaped dinette, a settee that converts to a double and a forward cabin with a double bunk. All the interior teak joinery work is of the highest quality in material and workmanship.

When you enter the vessel and come down the circular companionway into this wonderful space it is difficult to conceive that this boat is not a lot larger than 39.' A very fine example of interior design. Up on deck you will notice the ease of sail handling, anchoring, deck safety, and the complete cockpit enclosure to insure comfort when traveling in stormy weather. All sail halyards and sheets are led to the cockpit.
