Broker's Comments

Designed around the highly successful DB1 hull by the respected Van de Stadt design team, the Dehler 34 is regarded as a yacht with excellent sea keeping qualities coupled with modern spacious accommodation. They are equally at home racing around the cans or more extensive and adventurous cruising.

This variant is one of the later designs and sports 3 cabin windows each side of the coach roof.

This Dehler 34 has been well cared for throughout her life and is presented for sale in very good order, in particular her accommodation and engine. Her recent survey gave her a clean bill of health aside from a few minor details that require attention. That said, her cockpit seating will require some attention and this will be reflected in the price. I viewed her just after she had been launched and she has yet to be given her pre-season scrub. She has been lightly raced in local club racing throughout her current ownership and sports a decent sail inventory and an excellent range of navigation instrumentation.

Her design pedigree, robust construction and modern design of accommodation all adds up to a yacht well suited for club racing, coastal cruising or even hopping across the channel. If these criteria meet your requirements, it should definitely be on your list.

Furthermore, much of the documentary history comes with the boat including a builders certificate and a VAT statement from a previous change of ownership.
