Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are delighted to offer this Amel Maramu for sale currently moored at St Katharine Docks.

Built in 1984, this yacht is a true blue water cruiser having been around the world previously and the current owners sailed her over from Florida in 2012.

As a result of its ocean going capability, this boat has almost every piece of navigation equipment conceivable and is set up to be self sustainable for weeks at a time.

The owners have maintained the boat meticulously and this shows as soon as you step on board. The wide beam means the saloon and galley feel very spacious and, as you would expect, there is a generously-sized chart table and nav station to starboard.

Both cabins have their own heads and mean the boat is a comfortable place to spend long periods of time be they in its current London berth or out on the ocean.

The full list of sails is below:
Reefing mainsail. North. Slab reefing. 2 reefs - 2009
Headsail. North.
Roller furling genoa.
Mainsail 2. North.
Storm Jib.
Inner foresail North.
Inner foresail Brent.
Mizzen. Kent.
Mizzen staysail. North.
Gennaker. North.
Mizzen Gennaker. Kent.
Spinnaker. Brent.

The mooring at St Katharine Docks is transferable to the purchaser by separate negotiation and could be used as a London pied-a-terre if required.
