This launch is the apogee of traditional boat building , handcrafted in a palette of woods from the County of Suffolk, with Oak, Thawer, Larch to name some. The craftsmanship is apparent in every aspect of her construction. Wood has many advantages over composites its stronger with a higher tensile strength but it is in the aesthetic, this boat is delightful. Both to the eye and to the pocket. Very probably this will be the only launch you will buy. The integrity of the build is faultless. The grain of the Oak used in the gunwhales has been specially selected so that the grain follows her shape, nothing in her construction is co incidental, the knees crafted in oak with copper fastenings, an oak apron, her hull crafted from Larch, that has been cured onsite. Her hull has bilge keels which allow for greater stabilisation and to reduce roll. A completely reconditioned inboard and trailer. I felt privileged to see her and meeting the builder, who modestly showed me her, This boat is not just special in every sense but unique , a boat that has literally grown from her roots and deserves her beauty. If you like traditional and are looking for a trailerable launch, I can honestly say I have never seen a more beautiful example
