This Storebro Royal Cruiser left the Storebro yard in 1968 and still shows the quality of her original construction that the yard became famous for. 7"/8" inch Mahogany planking copper fastened to 46 oak frames (12 laminated). Teak laid decks and GRP cabin roofs. This is the De Luxe saloon version with sliding canopy over the helm position and sliding windows & washbasin in the aft cabin.
Fresh water tanks and fuel tanks are stainless steel
Initial build quality needs no introduction and our vendor has constantly maintained and improved the vessel whilst keeping a close eye on maintaining original charm.
2010 new flooring in maplewood imported from Italy and incorporating a lead sound insulating layer in the cockpit.
2011 New Lofrans 12v winch with handheld remote control + 50m chain
2011 Victron 1.6Kw charger inverter + 220v ring main installed
2012 New upholstery Leather in saloon, "Sky" in cockpit & cabins
2012 deck furniture rechromed
2016 All new canvases to windows and cockpit.

Saloon with De Luxe "saloon" (as opposed to the standard "dinette") layout. Heads with Blakes WC new in 2012 and wet room shower (note no hot water on board at present). Galley with sink, two burnet electric rings (shore power only). Our vendor had planned to install a Taylor's stove but the purchase of his new 17m (wooden) yacht has halted the plan. Freezer is under the bench seating and 12V fridge opposite the cooker. Gas free boat!!

A very nicely kept classic wooden motor cruiser from a renowned builder. Only for sale because our knowledgable and conscientious vendor has bought a much larger (17m) wooden motor yacht. For Storebro aficionados The Royal Cruiser IV (later known as the Storebro Royal Cruiser 34) represents the "nec plus ultra" of the Storebro range when the yard was at its best and the last of the classic wooden motor cruisers built by the yard.
