Keel stepped spruce mast with matching spruce boom. Forestay was replaced in 2005 at same time a new Furlex reefing system for the Genoa was fitted. Primary winches replaced in 2007 with new Lewmar 40ST chrome finished self tailers. Spinnaker used once. Small cockpit awning.

Construction
Wood Construction with Long keel underwater profile, paint finish
Carvel built timer hull, Mahogany on Canadian Rock Elm timbers. Plywood GRP sheathed deck. Solid Teak coachroof.
Iron ballast keel, iron strap floors. Keel bolts drawn and inspected during Lloyds survey in 1998 and all ok
Hull finished in white gloss paint with decks coated in buff deck paint, coachroof sides gloss varnished along with other brightwork
Below decks the sole boards are of solid Teak left in a natural finish with no varnish or preserve applied.
High standard of finish throughout
Iron ballast keel, iron strap floors. Keel bolts drawn and inspected during Lloyds survey in 1998 and all ok
Hull finished in white gloss paint with decks coated in buff deck paint, coachroof sides gloss varnished along with other brightwork
Below decks the sole boards are of solid Teak left in a natural finish with no varnish or preserve applied.

The forepeak has two single births with storage provided below both.
Aft of the forepeak the sizeable heads compartment can be found to port with the traditional Baby Blakes seawater heads unit still in place. Starboards of the heads is a full length hanging wardrobe.
The main saloon is what you would expect to find in a classic yacht, the bulkheads and lockers are painted in white gloss with the timber trims finished in rich varnished timber.
Heating provided by a bulkhead mounted Taylors paraffin stove. Bunks and to the port and starboard sides of the saloon.
Full sized navigationb table has storage below.
To starboard a quarter berth runs aft of the chart table under the cockpit seat.
Basic galley to port of chart table with sink and Flavel cooker, cutlery and crockery for six is included in the sale. A small hanging wet locker is positioned aft of the galley

Below decks the originality of the boat has not been spoilt with over modernisation although practical improvements have been made for easy navigation and to make longer cruisers more comfortable.
She has been immaculately maintained over the years, being regularly surveyed and only removed from Lloyds +100 A1 register in the last 2 years.
