The Bayliner 3888 was designed to be an affordable and efficient two cabin, two head motoryacht. Nearly 1,000 editions of this 38 footer were sold during its 12 year production run and the layout/features barely changed. This is a clear sign of a thoughtful, practical motoryacht design offered at a very competitive price.

On the portside there is a U-shaped settee with adjustable table. The lower helm is on the starboard side - it is equipped with most of the navigational electronics and has a very nice, adjustable helm chair. Forward and down from the lower helm is the galley with teak and holly sole. The galley is equipped with a propane stove/oven, separate fridge/freezer, microwave, dual stainless steel sink, coffeemaker, and plenty of storage. The guest stateroom is on the portside across from the galley. It has a queensize bunk, hanging locker and a door to access the guest head. This Bayliner 3888 is powered with reliable twin Hino 175 HP diesels for fuel-efficient cruising. It is offered for sale by its second owner who purchased the boat in 1991. The boat has been moored in fresh water since then. It could use some cosmetic attention and improvements, but it is priced accordingly. With its innovative two stateroom, two head layout in a 38' sedan this yacht will be in demand for many years to come.
